Senior: Katherine Grace

Photography, Senior

Katherine Grace, also known as Gracie but mostly goes by “GG” is one of the sweetest and funniest girls I know. We witnessed each other’s awkward stages in life (still going through that) and strengthened our friendship within the past two years. It all began when her mother told her to sit next to my little sister in church and a beautiful friendship between the two blossomed. Our friendship began as well.

Gracie is a senior in high school and is going to attend The University of Alabama in the fall of 2017. She has two brothers and two cats along with a Niall Horan cutout staring at her in her room. She wants to become a writer because books bring her so much joy, so she wants to share the joy found within the bounded pages of these books with others. It’s her way of making the world a better place.

Another thing you don’t know about Gracie is that she loves makeup. Look at her!

What’s your favorite Bible verse?

Jesus wept. (John 11:35)

K: “Jesus didn’t cry because his friend die. He cried because everyone in the room was also crying. He had compassion. He couldn’t stand seeing everyone unhappy. I remember this when I feel alone.”

A simple yet powerful verse.

What do would you like to accomplish at the end of the year?

G: “I want to make sure I know what I know what I’m doing with my life.”

Gracie and I always talk about and freak about our lives.  At this point, I don’t think we ill ever know what we want to do with our lives. It’s normal for us t0 change our minds. Whatever she ends up doing, she is going to do so well because she is passionate and kind-hearted.

What has life taught you recently?

G: “I can’t always expect life to pick me up. It’s mostly not going to go my way. It’s going to always disappoint me. I have to accept that and rise above.”

I am very protective of Gracie. She’s my other little sister that I will always fight for. She gets on my nerves, is always there to pick me up, and will always make me feel like I belong.

She’s the cutest little girlie that loves drinking Coca-Cola and eating Italian food.

She’s beautiful inside and out. Words cannot explain how much love I have for this girl.

Peace and blessings to you and the rest of your senior year, GG.

  1. I almost landed on this blog by accident as it was a “More on WordPress prompt underneath a blog I am following. This is certainly quite a testimonial for GG and you must also be a special friend and person. Keep following Christ
